‘The integration of components that influence the building climate into the building envelope has steadily increased in recent years.

As the ‘Verband für Fassadentechnik e.V.’, an association of consultants, planners, structural engineers and experts specialising in the building envelope, we also see ourselves as an interface or mediator during the planning phase and project supervision between technical building equipment and the façade, particularly with regard to sound insulation, sun protection, ventilation, sunlight control systems, access technology, fire protection, green façades and photovoltaics in the façade.

Our trade association, known for its annual seminar, which has been taking place for 30 years, would like to emphasise the need for communication between the two important trades of building services and façades through its presence at INOLOPE, and not just at an event like INOLOPE.

Inolope Expo is an important platform for presenting the innovative power of ventilated rainscreen façades. It promotes dialogue between manufacturers, tradespeople, planners and investors and offers solutions for challenges such as sustainability and digitalisation. In view of climate change and scarce resources, it is crucial to develop innovative solutions that fulfil ecological and economic requirements.

The VCW is more than just a design element; it combines technological innovations with sustainable construction methods and offers potential for energy savings, CO₂ reductions and a circular economy. It is moving to the centre of modern architecture and construction planning and is a central building block for a sustainable building culture of the future.

From 12 to 14 February 2025, together with the FVHF (Fachverband vorgehängte hinterlüftete Fassaden e.V.), we will be presenting the innovative power of VHF. Supported by the Federal Foundation for Building Culture, we look forward to exchanging ideas and shaping the future of building sustainably together.
