  • ACCESSIBILITY

    ACCESSIBILITY OF THE HALLS

Our entire exhibition center is accessible to wheelchair users. Halls 4 to 8 are connected to each other and are at ground level. The upper halls (Westfalenhalle and Halls 1-3) as well as higher rooms in the congress center can be reached via elevators. In all halls you will find disabled-accessible sanitary rooms, which are reserved for visitors with physical limitations via the Eurokey locking system.

    WHEELCHAIR RENTAL

Wheelchairs can be rented from the gatekeeper at the north entrance by paying a deposit. (Attention: only small quantities).

    SANITARY FACILITIES

The accessible toilets at Messe Dortmund are equipped with the standardized Europe-wide Eurokey system. This ensures safe and convenient access to the sanitary facilities for people with disabilities.

Individuals who already have a Eurokey can, of course, use it freely.

Information on where to obtain a key on-site, along with all other details, can be found on the overview page for accessible sanitary facilities at Messe Dortmund.

    GUIDANCE SYSTEM

Our wayfinding system is tailored to the needs of people with visual and learning disabilities in terms of contrast and comprehensibility.

    PARKING POSSIBILITIES

Our disabled parking spaces on the exhibition grounds are kept free by stewards and are therefore not directly signposted. In this way, we ensure that, depending on the trade fair, the parking spaces closest to the respective entrance are available to you. When you arrive, please inform the parking attendant about your situation. Severely disabled people who have a blue additional parking permit will be guided by stewards to a space near the entrance and may park on the exhibition grounds free of charge.
